Brownwood: Day 2

After a long day we finally made it to Brownswood. Tomorrow we will be speaking at Howard Payne University, and then we will be on our way to Abilene. We've biked approximately 120 miles only 4,380 miles to go....

On the road, we've come up with team names (since we are riding 2 at a time) they are the following...

Justin and Andi- Team Okanawa
Justin and Alyson- Team Grind (cause we'll grind it out)
Kyle and Nathan- Team Shake and Bake

We've been so blessed with another host. We are staying at Mr. and Mrs. Noble's house for the night. After a couple illegal u-turns (shakes head at kyle) we came into their wonderful home, to see the most beautiful thing we have seen all day........food!!!! It was wonderful. After steep hills and the beating sun anything we eat tastes like its the best thing in the world.

Kyle and Nathan are at the good old local Walmart purchasing supplies, while me, Andi, and Alyson are taking warm showers...j/k we aren't going to let Team Shake and Bake do all the work...Alyson and I are reparing the bikes and Alyson (aka mom) is taking it upon herself of washing our canteens and doing laundry, like my mom at home! Andi is filming everything, can't wait to show all of you. Well gotta get rest, until our next blog...

See you in Abilene!

ps: We'll be posting pics soon...

Guess it's a good thing you have someone along to take care of you, eh? We'll see if Alyson is still feeling so cordial at the end of July. Ha.
