Day 19: Kanab, UT

I'm writing from a Subway in Kanab, UT to keep you all informed on our progress. We made it through Arizona and I got to enjoy the beautiful dam as we went straight down. Andi got some great film footage of us gliding through the dam and some funny video of him beefing it...don't worry he's ok. We entered into Utah with minor heat that went away as soon as a cool breeze kicked in. We have been blessed with some great weather.

My knees are feeling a lot better, Kyle is still out for the time being, and Alyson rocked at 10 mile stretch of mountains and she's happy to say that her knee is no longer bothering her.

Yesterday, we made some wonderful spaghetti... the Prego kind.. : ) We've decided/voted that we will no longer be eating fried food, figuring that that may be a cause to our deficiencies. Luckily it seems that its working and we are feeling better about ourselves, no longer torturing ourselves with fast food (except subway, of course).

It feels good to be in our 4th state in our journey. We really can't believe it! We are staring at a mulit-colored map of the United States here at Subway and we really can't believe we've made it this far. Like its been said, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step." Each day is new and each day gets us closer to our goal.

p.s. We are all really excited about riding into Zion National Park tomorrow.

I'm not going to lie, I had to look up "deficiencies"...

Not eating fried food is a good decision. I haven't been eating fast food for the past month and I can tell a big difference in how I feel and I'm so not a biker.

Good decision on the fried foods. Gotta keep those temples in order!
